“I went in there with uncertainty and walked out with a fixed truck and a preferred body shop. They treated me like family.”
Juan, RAM owner“… Went above and beyond even after they finished, they made sure to address my concerns.”
Tiaira, Nissan owner
What we fix
- Key scratches and long scrapes down a door or the side
- Scuffs from a pole, a wall or another car
- Faded, chalky or peeling clear coat on a hood, roof or trunk
- Chips and scratches that go down to the primer or the metal
- A single panel that no longer matches the rest of the car

How deep is your scratch?
Car paint is layers: a clear coat on top, the color under it, then primer and the metal or plastic. A light scratch only in the clear coat can sometimes be polished out by a detailer. Once a scratch goes through to the color or the primer, or the clear coat is peeling, the area needs to be refinished. Touch-up pens fill the line but rarely match, which is why the repair is done by refinishing the panel.
Peeling and fading are usually the clear coat breaking down after years of sun. The fix is the same: sand down the damaged area, refinish it and blend it in.
How we match your color
Every car’s paint has a factory code, but sun and age change it. We mix paint to your car’s color, and spray it in our own booth. The new paint is blended into the panels next to it so there’s no hard line where the repair stops.
What affects the price
- How many panels. A scratch that runs across two doors means two panels to refinish.
- How deep. Down to the primer or metal is more work than the clear coat alone.
- Your color. Metallic and pearl colors take more work to match than a solid color.
- Any dent with it. If the panel is dented too, the dent gets fixed first. See dent repair.
Most of our repairs start around $1,000 and go up from there. Send us photos and we can usually give you a ballpark. The exact price comes after we see the car in person, because photos can’t show everything underneath.
Repair painting only
We paint what needs repair: a scratched door, a faded hood, a scraped bumper. We don’t do complete repaints of a whole car.
Insurance or out of pocket
We work with every insurance company, or pay your own way, with financing if you want it. Every repair comes with our lifetime warranty, good for as long as you own the car. The way we put it: we don’t warranty the vehicle, we warranty you.
Quick answers
Will the new paint match the rest of my car?
We mix paint to your car’s color and blend it into the panels next to the repair, so it matches the rest of the car.
How much does it cost to fix a scratch on a car?
It depends on how deep the scratch is, how many panels it crosses and your color. Send photos for a ballpark; the exact price comes after we see it.
Do you paint whole cars?
No. We don’t do complete repaints. We do repair painting: a door, a hood, a bumper.
Can you fix faded or peeling paint?
Yes. We sand down the damaged area, refinish it and blend it in. Send photos for a ballpark.
