“I went in there with uncertainty and walked out with a fixed truck and a preferred body shop. They treated me like family.”
Juan, RAM owner“… Went above and beyond even after they finished, they made sure to address my concerns.”
Tiaira, Nissan owner
How it works
- Open your claim with your insurance company (or the other driver’s) and tell them you want your car repaired at Eagle and Sun. Not sure how? Call us and we’ll walk you through it.
- Bring the car in for a free estimate. If it can’t be driven, see towing.
- We find all the damage, including what’s hidden behind the panels, and work with the adjuster on it.
- Pick up your car, repaired and backed by our lifetime warranty.

Your claim or theirs?
If the other driver was at fault, you can file with their insurance company. That’s usually called a third-party claim, and you normally don’t pay a deductible.
If it was you, or it’s unclear, you file with your own insurance under your collision coverage, and your deductible applies. If the other driver is later found at fault, your insurer may be able to get your deductible back from theirs.
Either way we work with the company that’s paying.
Words you’ll hear
- Adjuster: the person at the insurance company who reviews the damage and approves the repair.
- Deductible: the part of the repair you pay on your own claim before insurance pays the rest.
- Supplement: an update to the estimate when more damage is found after the car is taken apart.
- Total loss: when the insurance company decides the repair costs too much compared with the car’s value. See totaled car: what to do before you sign.
You choose the shop
In California, your insurance company can’t require you to use a particular body shop. You choose where your car is repaired (California Insurance Code §758.5).
Is a claim even worth it?
For a bumper or a dent, sometimes it isn’t once you count the deductible and a possible premium increase. We’ll give you a free estimate first so you can decide. See repair without insurance.
Quick answers
Which insurance companies do you work with?
All of them. We also work with customers paying out of pocket.
Can my insurance company make me use their shop?
In California, your insurance company can’t require you to use a particular body shop. You choose where your car is repaired (California Insurance Code §758.5).
Do I pay my deductible to you?
If you’re using your own insurance, the deductible is usually paid to the shop when you pick up the car, and the insurer pays the rest. If the other driver’s insurance is paying, there’s usually no deductible. Your policy sets the details, so ask us.
Do I need an estimate before I call my insurance?
No, you can open the claim first. But a free estimate first helps you decide whether a claim is worth it for smaller damage.
